Meet Your Tutor!

Hi, I’m Ms. Shachia! I’m an experienced educator with over ten years of teaching elementary math, mostly with 3rd–5th graders. I currently teach in South Carolina and formerly taught with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in Charlotte, North Carolina. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work with students across multiple states—and even Canada—helping them build confidence, strengthen skills, and develop a love of learning.

In 2016, I started Think Do Succeed Tutoring because I wanted to bring personalized, high-quality tutoring directly to students in a way that was comfortable and motivating. I offer online tutoring for students anywhere, and in-person tutoring in select areas, so every child can get the support that works best for them. I’ve loved traveling to homes and connecting with families, and now I’m thrilled to reach even more scholars through online sessions.

Math has always been my greatest passion, and I love helping students see that they can succeed in any subject with encouragement, strategy, and persistence. Outside of teaching, I’m a mother, community supporter, and author. I also aspire to open a learning facility someday, where students can experience a nurturing and motivating environment for growth.
